The Veil, S1 - Teaser, Social Spots
FX NETWORKS
FX’s new six-episode limited series, The Veil, is a contemporary espionage thriller staring Elisabeth Moss as Imogen Salter, an MI6 operative. The Veil explores the depths between Imogen and her “target” – a suspected ISIS terrorist named Adilah El Idrissi. The two women’s lives intersect in a deadly game of truth and lies.
This teaser and these social spots were among several pieces I edited. They showcase an intriguing effect crafted by FX, involving the manipulation of show footage through panes of glass and mirrors to produce captivating reflections and refractions. These visual elements contributed significantly to the show's enigmatic atmosphere.
Welcome to Wrexham, S1 - “Story” TV30
FX NETWORKS
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds bought Wrexham A.F.C., a Welsh football club in 2020. Despite their lack of prior football experience, the two actors envisioned transforming the club into an inspiring underdog tale that resonates globally.
This was a piece that I produced at Project X/AV. I have immense admiration for Ryan and Rob, so when when the opportunity to work on the Welcome to Wrexham campaign, I jumped at the chance.

The Washington Post “Impact” Campaign
THE WASHINGTON POST
These are two branding spots that I helped create for The Washington Post in order to revitalize its image and attract a wider audience.
I worked closely with the motion graphics team and the music department to develop the look and tone of this campaign and establish a cohesive brand experience. Each spot highlights one topic and introduces the viewer to the reporters at The Washington Post who bring these stories, and others like them, to light. In a rapidly evolving media landscape, rebranding becomes essential for news organizations to stay competitive, and I was thrilled to play a role in this transformative process.
In addition to editing these spots, I also worked with a number of composers to audition and select a compelling mnemonic for The Washington Post’s online and linear content.
FX on HULU - Branding Trailer
FX NETWORKS
Launched and Creative Directed a Brand campaign that introduced the partnership of FX Networks and HULU. This new campaign comprised over 80 spots, focusing on various aspects of the massive FX library of shows from Comedy to Drama to Female Empowerment to Action to Legacy titles.
As the campaign expanded, I supervised a team of designers and editors to ensure the client’s high standards were met and each spot was part of a cohesive vision, maintaining the voice, and brand of the network and the campaign.
This was the first spot that I edited and produced at Buddha Jones that started it all. FX asked for something they’d never seen before, and that was music to my ears. Nearly four years later, it’s still one of my favorites.

Angel City, S1 - Trailer
HBO
Angel City is a documentary series offering an exclusive glimpse of the groundbreaking Los Angeles-based professional women's soccer team, Angel City Football Club (ACFC).
I was very excited to edit this trailer and collaborate with such reputable clients. I love this story and everything this team represents to the community. I’m proud of this piece and couldn’t think of a better place to have a majority female-owned NWSL team than here in Angel City.
TCA Summer 2022 Reel
FX NETWORKS
I had the privilege of creating my third TCA Reel for FX Networks, promoting their 2022 slate, including the premiere of Justified: City Primeval, the return of Reservation Dogs, and the second season of The Bear. Each of these TCA Reels blend numerous series around a central theme, which is no easy feat. Working alongside talented creatives across various FX projects has been an enriching experience I deeply appreciate.

The Other Two, S3 - Trailer
HBO
The third season of The Other Two tracks the journey of two struggling millennial siblings Brooke and Cary Dubek, as they navigate the sudden celebrity status of their 13-year-old brother.
I enjoyed editing the trailer for this season. I found myself immediately drawn to its exceptional writing and comedic brilliance. Plus, exploring the limits of how far we could push things was the most exhilarating aspect of the experience.
The Mayor Of Kingstown, S1 - Trailer
PARAMOUNT+
Centered around the influential McLusky family, dominant figures in Kingstown, Michigan, where the incarceration business reigns supreme, this series delves into themes of systemic racism, corruption, and inequality. It offers a raw portrayal of their efforts to instill order and justice in a town plagued by chaos and injustice.
This was yet another striking example of a main character from Taylor Sheridan, that displays the seeds of both good and evil within themselves. For me, it’s that revelation that makes fantastically compelling drama, and I was thrilled to edit this trailer.
The One and Only Dick Gregory - Trailer
SHOWTIME NETWORKS
Filmmaker Andre Gaines examines the remarkable life and career of stand-up comic, activist, and pop culture icon Dick Gregory.
I worked with a good friend of mine, Garrett Wagner on this trailer after all of the work we did together while he was at FX Networks. The story of Dick Gregory has so many layers and touched so many people over so many years, that it was difficult yet so important to get his legacy into one piece.
Rellik, S1 - Trailer
CINEMAX
The dark crime thriller Rellik, a six-part limited series told in reverse, follows DCI Gabriel Markham and his team as they try to hunt down a serial killer.
While I was editing the trailer, I found the most challenging aspect was trying to show the manipulation of time and temporal displacement was a convention of the narrative structure. I worked hard to avoid giving the impression that the detective simply possessed supernatural abilities.

Legion, S1 - Trailer
FX NETWORKS
David Haller is a troubled young man diagnosed as schizophrenic, but after a strange encounter he discovers special powers that will change his life forever.
Working on Legion was an absolute blast. I had the opportunity to cut and produce numerous spots for this exhilarating, mind-bending campaign. It was another fantastic collaboration with FX, and I deeply appreciated how open the client was to all the creative explorations we embarked on with this exciting material.

Sharp Objects - Launch Spot
HBO
Based on the bestselling novel by Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl) and directed by Emmy winner Jean-Marc Vallée (HBO's Big Little Lies), this thrilling limited series stars Amy Adams as a journalist with a history of psychiatric issues who returns to her rural hometown to cover the apparent murders of two preteen girls.
This was a piece I edited for the premiere of the series. For this spot, I decided to focus on the choices we make and the consequences of those choices. That theme works so well for Sharp Objects and countless other HBO shows. The client and the music supervisor selected a new, unreleased track from Norah Jones, and its sparse melody became the perfect through-line for the piece.
The People v. OJ Simpson: ACS - Trailer
FX NETWORKS
The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story is a limited series that takes you inside the O.J. Simpson murder trial with a riveting look at the legal teams battling to convict or acquit the football legend of double homicide.
I thoroughly enjoyed my involvement in this series, having contributed to nearly every aspect of the campaign. From stellar performances to historical accuracy, and captivating music, Ryan Murphy’s signature brilliance provided an incredibly rich canvas to work with.

Deadly Class, S1 - Teaser
SYFY
Deadly Class is a coming-of-age story about a disillusioned teen who is recruited into a secret boarding school for assassins in the 1980s. The series is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Rick Remender.
I edited several pieces for this series including two trailers, but this was my favorite. Once the idea to grid a spot with the former First Lady’s famous speech was proposed, I was excited to dive in and explore all the 80’s nostalgia that came with it.
The Wizard of Lies - Teaser
HBO
The Wizard of Lies is the fascinating story of Bernie Madoff and his infamous $65 billion Ponzi scheme, the largest fraud in U.S. history, featuring Robert DeNiro and Michelle Pfeiffer.
As I watched DeNiro’s performance, I immediately thought of Tom Waits’ song “Building”. Of course, Tom Waits never licenses his music for marketing, so the spot died at V1. Luckily, Promax has a category for best work never seen.

Jack Ryan, S2 - “Business” TV30
AMAZON PRIME
After tracking a potentially suspicious shipment of illegal arms in the Venezuelan jungle, CIA Officer Jack Ryan heads to South America to investigate. Jack's actions threaten to uncover a far-reaching conspiracy, leading him and his fellow operatives on a mission spanning the globe.
It’s hard for me to see John Krasinski as anyone other than Jim Halpert, but his role as Jack Ryan provides a lot of exciting scenes to spin into solid creative, and riveting sequences. This was one of several spots, including a trailer, that I edited for this series.
“Reggie Riffs” TV60
IFC / VOLKSWAGEN
“Do whatever you want.”
That was my main direction once the dailies came in. This Volkswagen spot was the first thing I cut at Bacon & Sons Film Company and it was a lot of fun trying to top myself creatively since the director, Dan Appel was very open to exploring new ideas with this piece.

“Reggie Riffs” TV30
IFC / MOTOX
Folllowing the Volkswagen spot, this project became another remarkable addition to the "Reggie Riffs" series I was involved in at Bacon and Sons Film Company. With Reggie Watts's abundant improvisational brilliance, the task of selecting only the finest moments proved to be quite a challenge.
